Irene McCalphin aka Magnoliah Black is a Bay Area writer, model & performance artist who blends modern movement & words with neo-burlesque to create socially conscious art pieces which give voice to marginalized communities while celebrating every body. She is a published author and public speaker highlighting the intersections of fat, feminism, kink, spirituality and human sexuality. She is a proud member of the Santa Clara County Leather Association & Associate Producer for the country's longest running queer burlesque & cabaret experience Red Hots Burlesque.
