Diane Johnson, Ph.D., M.Div. (who is also known as Dr. Di by her Spark Collective fire family members) has worked in the field of community building, collaboration and social transformation for more than 25 years (yeah she began when she was around 11 years old Dr. Johnson has worked at the intersections of community transformation, organizational capacity building, spirituality and leadership development since establishing Mmapeu Management Consulting in 1992. Mmapeu is a South African name that means ‘woman who carries ideas’. Diane has worked with over 8,000 non-profits, foundations and community leaders including Habitat for Humanity, The Kellogg Foundation, Planned Parenthood, numerous colleges and universities, HUD, the Corporation for National Community Service. A practicing Buddhist, neo-pagan, and New Thought spiritualist she is about to become an ordained United Church of Christ minister. After attending PCon for almost ten years she is delighted to be leading a workshop and supporting the connections between spirituality and social change.
