Ancestor reverence is the cornerstone of many sacromagickal traditions. This is certainly true of AfroDiasporic religions. We will discuss the significance and functions of the Ancestors in daily life and in ritual work, learn ways of fostering relationship with Ancestors of blood and spirit, and then participate in a brief 'misa espiritual' to acknowledge our Ancestors and receive their blessing. Doors will be closed once the misa begins. Attendees are encouraged to wear white and to bring something to cover your head.

The oral traditions of telling Tales in Africa is a timeless & honored practice. Tales are for all ages. For the tales are also a way of teaching Wisdom. simple or complex, we all can learn from a tale. So come share, learn, and enjoy a tale.
