Explore the concept of ritualistic trance and possession safely and effectively. Throughout the world, there are many dances and rituals focused on channeling energy from within and without ourselves - the Middle Eastern Zar, the Mediterranean Tarantula, the Voudou concept being "ridden", Neo-Pagan "Drawing Down the Moon" to name a few. Understand what makes these dances so powerful, and how to channel them. Let the dark emotions flow through the music and you. We'll cover mental exercises for proper preparation of self, & improvisational moves that will conduct the energy of the trance dance.
