In homage to the sacred celebration of Pomba Gira for many years, CAYA Coven presents an ecstatic dance rite with interactive opportunities to celebrate Goddesses of Love & Pleasure. Strong base beats, live drumming, burlesque, and sensuous music will all be present at this ritual, as devotions to Pomba Gira, Aphrodite, Ishtar, Oshun, Venus, Hathor, and others. Wear red if you plan to dance freely with others, wear black if you mostly want to hang by yourself or you own group of friends, so that folks can easily recognize who consents to being approached. Street-legal dress, over 18, pls.
